Project Location:  200 E. Beltline Rd., Coppell, TX  75019

The new 14,420 SF Ingle Office /Warehouse will be a single-story shell building 16’ clear office / warehouse space. The building slab is 6” reinforced concrete on 12” select fill cap over a water injected subgrade.  Perimeter of building is constructed of tilt-up concrete wall panels approx. 24’ high on reinforced concrete belled piers.  Interior steel columns, joists and decking complete the structure elements for this project.Panels will have exterior colored coating with decorative reveals.  Storefront windows & glass align the front façade under new canopies for future tenant entrances.  Each tenant will have their own drive-up rear entrance with a rolling overhead coiling door for access. Other warehouse finishes include electric unit heaters and large bay-lighting.The site work encompasses a new detention pond adjacent to the new building with a new fire lane pavement around the new building with approx. 53 new parking spaces.  New underground utilities will be installed to serve storm water run-off, sanitary sewer and water use.  Final amenities include irrigation and landscaping, parking bumpers and signage.

This 52,570 square-foot project will be a new two-story library in the Heritage Crossing District and is expected to receive a LEED Silver certification. The library will feature state-of-the-art technology such as special dimming glass and geothermal wells for energy conservation.  The library’s amenities include a multipurpose event space and a basement storage area for materials, study rooms of variable sizes outfitted with smart technology, a media wall, liquid floor tiles in the children’s area and an iCreat lab for teens. The façade of the new library will be constructed of natural Texas limestone elements complementing the style of the Heritage Crossing District.

The expansion project includes roughly 21,860 SF of addition and renovation to the existing building at 330 Rufe Snow Drive and a new separate jail structure as well as associated site work.  Additional work will include about 2,900 SF of tenant finish-out on the second floor of Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway.

Ratcliff Constructors, LP, has been awarded a $15,288 million contract to construct the new Denton County Juvenile Probation & Detention Center, located in Denton, Texas. The Denton County Juvenile Probation/Detention Expansion consists of two buildings totaling approximately 55,000 square feet.  The Multipurpose Facility includes classrooms for the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education program, Juvenile Justice Programming, additional offices, Counseling Center and Employee Training.  New multipurpose rooms were designed for the use of technology, art, and life skills training.  The facility expansion consists of 32 dormitory-style living quarters for Post-Adjudicated Juveniles with four Post-Adjudicated classrooms.  New visitation and administrative areas have been designed to add functionality to the campuses.  The expansion will utilize state of the art security and technology to serve the needs of the county and youth.  The courtyard will provide activity and exercise areas as well as covered seating for the program.

 

 

 

 


Owner:  Central Texas College

Architect: Freese and Nichols Location: Fort Worth, TX

Ratcliff Constructors, LP, has been awarded a $6.3 million contract to construct the new Facility Management Complex for Central Texas College District, located in Killeen, Texas. This project will consist of a 12,000-SF single-story Administration Building, an 11,500-SF Shops Building with Carpentry & Vehicle Maintenance areas, a 10,000-SF Storage Building and a 2,100-SF Chemical Storage Building. 

The new facility is situated on the college campus and will entail approximately 50,000 CY of imported fill to bring the site up to a level surface. This project will provide the college maintenance staff new offices and storage/maintenance buildings to support the growing campus needs of Central Texas College.  This is the second maintenance facility that Ratcliff Constructors has partnered with the architectural firm of Freese & Nichols, Inc. With an overall construction duration of 10 months, this project has an
estimated completion date of July 2013.

 

 

 


Owner: Denton County Transporation Authority

The Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility will accommodate the staff, drivers and maintenance requirements for DCTA buses.  The project consists of a new Fueling Station, Wash building, and a Maintenance/Administration/Operations building which will sit on approximately 15 acres of land in Denton, Texas.

 

 


Owner:  Uplift Education

Architect: HKS, Inc.  Location: Dallas, TX

Project consists of demolition of existing buildings and construction of a new high/middle school of approximately 58,000 sq. ft.  The work includes full demo and various components for the new building including:  steel frame, metal stud walls, brick veneer, cement fiber lap siding, modified bituminous roofing, site work, off site and onsite utilities, parking lot and landscaping, gyp board partitions, new stairs, full new MEP, a warming kitchen and gym equipment.  The project also includes minor renovation of 2 existing buildings on the same campus.
